When optimizing images, you might occasionally notice that some images are stuck in the "Processing..." state.

Rest assured, all images remain functional and visible to your customers. The "Processing" state simply indicates that Shopify is generating new thumbnails for the updated images.

This process can take up to 6 hours to complete, as Shopify handles millions of images every minute.

While the "Processing" state is active, please keep TinyIMG installed. We are working with the Shopify API to help speed up the process so you can continue working on your product images.

If you decide to uninstall TinyIMG and still see the "Processing" state after a few days - reach out to Shopify directly and ask to re-set the images.
