What are JSON-LD shipping details and how do I activate them?

The shippingDetails property in JSON-LD is part of the Offer schema and is used to describe how a product is shipped to customers. It provides structured data that helps search engines understand where a product can be shipped, what the shipping cost is, and under what conditions certain shipping options are available. This is especially important for eCommerce websites that want to display accurate shipping information in search results.

Within shippingDetails, you can define the destination using shippingDestination, which specifies the regions or countries eligible for the shipping method. The shippingRate property indicates the cost of shipping to that region. If there are conditions for free shipping, such as a minimum order amount, these can be defined using deliveryTime or freeShippingThreshold.

This structured approach allows businesses to communicate specific and dynamic shipping policies directly in the markup, enabling enhanced listings in platforms like Google Shopping.

You can easily activate it in our app Improve SEO section -> JSON-LD.

When this information is added, Google may display additional details like delivery duration in search results.
