How do I fix "H1 missing"?

Fixing "H1 missing" issue on site audit.

Written by Julia

H1 is the title of your page - all pages should have a single H1 that includes the target keyword.

What to do: Review the pages listed in the audit and add an H1 tag to any page that is missing one.

How to fix: Add a single H1 tag that clearly describes the main topic of the page and, where appropriate, includes the target keyword.

You could add headings using our application, simply by following steps in the article prepared by our team:

Alternatively, you could ask Sidekick to add an H1 tag for you. For example, you can ask Sidekick to do that for you - “Can you help me to add H1 to my homepage?”

Note: Heading 1 (H1) should represent the main title of your page, as search engines read your website structure in order of priority: H1 → H2 → H3, and so on. In some themes, the logo is automatically assigned as the H1 tag, while others may not include an H1 tag at all.
